Westwood Primary School is led by Headteacher, Mrs Lauraine Barnes (pictured) and works in partnership with Grove Primary School. There are leadership, teaching and support staff shared roles across the two schools. Together, the schools strive for excellence, have a relentless drive for school improvement and benefit from the shared ethos and working practices.
Both schools offer a high quality education to all children. Our aim is to provide a caring, nurturing, stimulating, exciting and safe learning environment. We strongly value the importance of parents/carers and look forward to working in partnership with you.

What a brilliant first week back year 2 have had. We have immersed in our new literacy unit, The Most Magnificent Thing, learnt about the 7 life processes in science, found out who the Montgolfier Brothers were in history - ask us! - and asked questions about the Universe in RWV. Have a good weekend
